GOESSLING plant in Schermbeck to be closed!

13. September 2024 JOEST Deutschland
Closing GOESSLING

Following successful progress in the expansion of our JOEST plant in Dülmen-Buldern, the employees of GOESSLING, which operates as a brand under the JOEST group, can now leave the Schermbeck plan.

With the move into our new administration building and the construction of the stainless steel center, we are ready for the next steps. The relocation of the employees is imminent, and for this reason the Schermbeck plant will be closed for good on December 31, 2024.

From January 2025, we look forward to welcoming our colleagues from Schermbeck to the Dülmen plant. The merger strengthens our joint path into the future and optimizes our production and business processes.

Basically, I am pleased that the final step in the takeover by JOEST has now been completed with the move.

By bringing production together at a common location, we are able to utilize the synergies in capacity planning that we had hoped to achieve through the merger. The proximity of production to the design department will once again strengthen direct communication and cooperation between the departments.

The employees from Schermbeck are positive about the future, now that they will be integrated as a permanent part of the JOEST group in Buldern.
