JOEST delivered one of the biggest vibrating fluidized bed dryer in company history
JOEST is a worldwide leading supplier of vibration technology. JOEST offers sophisticated and highly reliable machines and systems for conveying, screening, sorting, dosing and thermal processing of all kinds of bulk materials in all applicable
industries.
In September 2012 JOEST supplied a vibrating fluidized bed dryer type DWFT 2500 x 11200. With a total length of 13 meters, a width of 3.5 meters and a height of 6.5 meters this dryer is one of the biggest vibrating fluidized bed dryer which has ever been built.
The dryer consists of a drying and cooling zone with an area of 28 m2 and a total weight of approx. 25 tons. The linear stroke is produced by four JOEST rotary exciter cells type WE driven by two three-phase motors, each 30kW.
The delivery included the required process and air-cooling systems and process control.
This vibrating fluidized bed dryer will be used by a world market leader in the ceramic industry in Southeast Asia. From receipt of order to delivery of the machine the JOEST team needed only 6 months for completion.
In 2012 JOEST invested in additional workshop buildings to increase the manufacturing capabilities at the worldwide headquartes in Dülmen, Germany to respond to the increasing demand of very long and high vibrating machines like this dryer or screens.
JOEST is proud of the successful completion of one of the largest vibrating fluidized bed dryers in the company history which confirms the long-term experience with very large machines.

At JOEST, we always focus on efficiency and reliability when it comes to successfully implementing complex projects. A current example of this is the full modernization of a green sand line at our long-standing partner Fritz Winter – and that in an impressively short time.
In February, JOEST secured an order for the delivery of a specialized 15-meter-long vibrating conveyor for a Serbian producer of sugar products. This machine is an integral part of the production process, conveying freshly centrifuged sugar with a throughput of up to 70 tons per hour at a moisture content of 0,2-0,4% and a product temperature of about 65°C.
