This year, our JOEST Kickers enthusiastically took part in the Village Cup organized by DJK Adler Buldern. The tournament provided the perfect opportunity to showcase our competitive spirit and grow even closer as a team.
The first day of the tournament was highly successful for our team: with two convincing victories, we secured an excellent starting position. The motivation and team spirit were fantastic, and we headed into the second day with a lot of confidence. However, tougher opponents awaited us on the second day. After a hard-fought draw and a narrow loss, we ultimately had to bow out of the tournament. Despite these setbacks, the JOEST Kickers displayed great sportsmanship and determination.
We are proud of our team's performance and would like to thank all the players and the organizers at DJK Adler Buldern for an exciting and fair tournament.
We are already looking forward to next year when it's time again for the Village Cup!
