GENERAL INFORMATIONEN
JOEST Sets New Standards
Exciting news: Not only is our new, state-of-the-art stainless steel production facility currently under construction, but in the summer of 2024, we were also able to move into our new, fourth office building. With an area of approx. 2000 square meters on three floors, our new building not only offers space for innovative work areas, but also a variety of additional benefits for our team and our guests.
The new JOEST bistro
We are thrilled that the JOEST bistro has moved into the first floor of our new office building. The JOEST bistro is more than just a cafeteria - it is a meeting place for our team and, with 90 indoor seats and 24 outdoor seats, also offers a cozy place to take a break together in summer. The bistro's doors have recently been open to our employees, and since November 4, 2024, we have also been inviting external guests to discover our culinary offerings.
The bistro impresses with its diverse menu. In the Mornings, our guests can choose from a varied breakfast menu - whether scrambled eggs, fresh rolls or muesli, there is plenty to suit every taste. At lunchtime, there are two freshly prepared dishes and a soup of the day to choose from every day, along with a generous salad bar. We put particular emphasis on fresh and regional ingredients, which are used every day in changing menus. To ensure the freshness of our dishes and minimize food waste, we kindly ask guests to reserve their lunch in advance.
Reservations can easily be made via our website. Visit www.joestbistro.com for more information and to stay up-to-date with the latest news.
Sustainability and Modern Features
The new office building, accommodating 90 workstations, was designed with a strong focus on sustainability and meets the KfW 40 EE standards. It is powered by geothermal energy and a modern photovoltaic system, ensuring that a significant portion of the energy needs is covered by renewable sources. Our eco-friendly measures help reduce CO2 emissions and promote sustainable work practices.
The new, state-of-the-art stainless steel production facility, which is still in the process of being completed, is also designed to be energy-efficient in accordance with the KfW 40 EE standard and uses alternative energies. The new production facility is particularly geared towards the needs of sensitive sectors such as the chemical and food industries. Corrosion resistance, material purity and hygienic surfaces are crucial here. The new facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to enable precise and efficient processing of stainless steel and includes 11 welding workstations, each of which is generously dimensioned at 48 m². Production is supplemented by 18 crane systems.
